You have fallen this for years. This year all season. With home field throughout the postseason, they went from worst to first. This team did it without stars. They did it with beards. They laughed and had fun. They created things. They won games 4, 5 and 6 after losing gm 3 on an obstruction call. They had magic, away and home. They won 97 games best in the majors. They beat a Tampa team with Price and Moore. They beat a Tigers team with the best staff ever. They beat a solid Cards team. The difference was clutch hitting, as Papi, Gomes and Victorino had huge at bats. Lester was unreal and they had Peavy, Lackey and Buchholz. Doubront, Tazawa, Breslow and Uehara were the best bullpen in years. Pedrioa, Ellsbury, Ross, Salty, Napoli, Carp, Boagaerts, Middlebrooks, Drew, Nava and the names go on. Champs what a parade today!
