The Bruins are 3-1. They lost to the red hot Avs but defeated Columbus. Rask has only given up 4 goals in 4 games! They play at Det on a Columbus Day matinee.
The Pats defeated the Saints 30-27 yesterday to improve to 5-1. They led 17-7 but the Saints came back and with 2 minutes hit a long pass to take lead 24-23. With the team down 27-23 with a minute left and no timeouts, the Pats(without any players from last years team) drove the whole field and Brady hit undrafted rookie Thompkins with 5 seconds left in the end zone . Great win.............................and it would get better.
The Red Sox plated immediately after the Pats win. The previous night in Game 1 of the ALCS, the team managed only one hit and lost 1-0. In Game 2, the team had no hits in the 6th and trailed 5-0 in a seeming loss. But the team got a hit, then a run and trialed 5-1. Big Papi hit a grand slam in the 8th to tie it and in the 9th the team got a run to win it. What a day in Boston sports history!!
