Meanwhile our Red Sox have played better lately since they went out west. The went 4-2 on the left coast, came home and is 4-1 on their homestand that has them welcoming in the 2nd best team, Tigers, in town for a battle for AL supremacy.
The Red Sox lead the league in runs, and have a great rotation of Peavy/Lester/Dempster/Doubront/Lackey. The bullpen is young and great and Uehera is the best closer out there and hasn't surrendered a run since June!
