The Bruins were heavy favorites in the opening round series vs Caps. In an epic series, one in which all 7 gms were one goal games for the 1st time in NHL playoff history, the Bruins lost in gm 7 in OT. Shocking. It has taken weeks to get over the loss. The only solace was that the Caps lost gm 7 by one goal last night in NY to end their season the same way they ended ours.
The Red Sox stink. They are in last place. It is shocking but kind of not. By season end, they will have 90 wins Im sure. They do every year since the 1995 season.
The Celtics outlasted the Hawks in round 1. They lsot the 1st game, Rondo was suspended for gm 2 but the Celts still won and took momnnetum and won the series in 6 gms. It is the 5th straight trip to the semifinals in a row for the green. They host Philly and had an exciting gm 1 win in Boston last night to have a leg up in this series!
