I truly wish the above blog title wasn't deja vu. But the football gods screwed the Pats again. Am amazing 13-3 season in which the Pats scored at will and the defense gave up yards but not points is now over. I t would be to sore to talk about the game, so lets just say that the Pats should of won. They led with 4 minutes to go and had the ball in Giants territory. They were a Welker completion on 3rd down of essentially ending the game and a win for the Pats. He dropped it and the Giants got the ball back and went down the field and won in the final minute. Again, the Pats led at the 2 minute warning in the Big Game but still lost. Sad and hurtful.
The Celtics meanwhile had a good thing going as they won a few games in a row and sat at 14-10. Sadly, the blew a lead and lost by a point to LAL in OT in a nationally televised game they should have won. The following night the tired crew lost in Toronto. Not acceptable.
The Bruins are in the midst of a mid-winter slump. They have not won consecutive games in a month, including losing against Pitt a week ago today, then losing 6-0 in Buffalo a few days later. Luckily, the did enough today on home ice versus Nashville and and lead the northeast with 70 points.
