CELTICS SEASON OVER, RED SOX BATTLE 500 AND BRUINS LOSE GAME 1

The Bruins gave up 3 first period goals in a span of 2 minutes and lost 5-2 to Tampa Bay in game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Bruins host game 2 and are facing a must-win before heading south. The Red Sox are 19-20 and are tied for last place. Disgusting, right? Despite this, the club is only 3.5 games out of first place and only 2 games out of the wildcard! The team sends Lester to the hill determined to sweep the yanks. The Celtics lost in the 2nd round to the Heat. The series changer was Game 4, in which the Celts lost a heartbreaker in overtime that, if won, would tied the series at 2 games. For the 2nd straight season, the Green go deep in the playoffs but fall short.
