Our Bruins have done it. They have reached round 3 and will host the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in nearly 2 decades. Tim Thomas was amazing in net, including 52 saves in Game 2. The Bruins smoked the team that knocked them out of the playoffs last year. The Bruins outscored the Flyers 20-7 in the 4 game sweep. Chara was amazing, as was the whole team. Krejci and Marchand, the names go on. Unfortunately, McQuaid got hurt game 2 and missed the series but will return this week. Bergeron was knocked out with a concussion and is currently out of the lineup. The Bruins pummeled the Flyers to a tune of 5-1 in each game. The game 2 overtime win was the most vital game of the series. The Bruins will host the Tampa Bay Lightning, who can score and have Roloson. They upset the Pens and Caps. This will be a wonderful series. Go Bruins!
The Celtics are playing the Heat in Round 2. They lost both games in Miami but won last nights game 3 at Boston. Game 4 is the big one, as the Green Machine have to win it at The Garden and head to Miami tied at 2 games apiece.
The Red Sox are finally out of last place. They are a pathetic 16-18, but the good news is they are only 4 games out of first. They almost made it to .500, but a Youk walk-off fell inches short and the team lost that game and the next couple. They should be above .500 the next time I post!
