CELTICS PASS TEST, BRUINS DO NOT

Bruins have a crazy week. In one of the greatest regular season games ever, the Bruins won 8-6 over the Habs at the Garden. Fights galore, goals galore, 200 penalty minutes. But the team took their physical play and it failed versus a finesse team in the Wings in the next games. Instead of scoring we treied fighting and the Wings passed the chance to fight and smoked the Bruins in both games of the home in home series. With the two losses, the Bruins lead is down to a lone point as of tonight. Bruins have 69 points, Habs got 68. The tough 5 game stretch of Stars, Sharks Habs and 2 with Wings is complete at a crappy 2-3. Bruins got the Leafs, then Isles and Sens. Much easier. Hope they play better next week.
The Celtics had a poor week but finished it strong. Opposite of the black-and-gold. After a big win vs Magic, they lost in final minute to lowly Bobcats. They then blew a 13 point lead at home vs Lakers on national television. But with first place in conference on the line, the Celts beat the Heat today. The Celts, badly injured, without Shaq, Erdin, Daniels etc, are hanging around and with a win on Wed. versus the lowly Nets they will be 40-14 at the All Star Break. Hence, the club is 39-14 right now, a half game better than the 39-15 Heat.
