FIRST PLACE FEELS GOOD
Quick update. The Bruins are sort of reeling. They have lost 4 of 5 games, including a crushing 3-2 loss to MTL last night. The Bruins led 2-0 with 2 minutes left but the bad guys pulled their goalie and tied the game and then defeated us in overtime. The Bruins are now 0-3 versus their hated rivals this season. Yet, at 21-12, they are tied for first place with MTL. The Celtics lost to the Bulls last night, but sit comfortably at 28-8. They lead the Knicks by 6.5 games. The team opens up a 6 game homestand tomorrow night. The BC Eagles basketball team is 12-4, not bad. Moreover, their football team is on tonight in the Kraft Bowl vs. Nevada. Go Eagles. Lastly, the 14-2 Patriots will host the 12-5 Jets on Sunday. Despite losing to the Jets in week2, the Pats defeated the Jets 45-3 a few weeks back. Brady, who will be the MVP, will continue his amazing ways and Coach Belichick has plenty of film to set up as the Pats will be ready, and heavily favored. The winner plays the winner of the Ravens/Steelers matchup. Go Pats!
