UPDATE: BRUINS, CELTICS AND PATRIOTS 11-15-10

The Bruins have been ok. Thomas recaptured the starting goalie job, he started 8-0, the team was 7-2 and then 8-3. But home losses to MTL and OTT stung, and the team sits at 8-5. Savard and Krejci are both out with concussions, Boychuk out too. So is Sturm. The team stinks at home yet is badass on road. They are playing at home tonite, and hopefully whoop the Devils.

NHL NORTHEAST
  1. MTL 11-5 (23)
  2. OTT 9-7 (19)
  3. BOS 8-5 (17)
  4. BUF 6-9 (15)
  5. TOR 5-8 (13)

The Celtics are an incredible 8-2. The two O'Neal's are injured, but you got the Big Three and Rondo hitting his peak. The team defeated the supergroup copycat Lebron and Co. Heat twice already.

NBA ATLANTIC

  1. BOSTON 8-2 -
  2. NEW JER 3-6 4.5
  3. NEW YOR 3-7 5
  4. PHILADE 2-8 6
  5. TORONT 2-8 6

The Pats are tied for first place. The scummy Jets won the past 2 weeks in OT, they catch every break. Here is the first half of the Pats season:

WEEK 1: The Pats defeat the Bengals. Pats score 38 points.

WEEK 2: For the second straight season, the Pats lead at halftime but fail to win as the Jets steal the 2nd half and thus the game.

WEEK 3: The Pats score 38 again but the Bills hung around.

WEEK 4: Pats destroy Miami on MNF 41-14. Great road win.

WEEK 5: Bye.

WEEK 6: In one of the best regular season games I've ever watched, the Pats use a furious comeback against the team that knocked them out of the playoffs last year, the Ravens. The game goes to OT and the Pats find a way to win. Revenge is a dish best served ice cold!

WEEK 7: The Pats travel to San Diego and look great, leading 23-6 before the Chargers rally and have a chance for a last second tying field goal but luckily it clanks of post. Satisfying.

WEEK 8: Pats play the Vikings, so Moss returns to NE(he was traded last month to Minn, who traded him soon thereafter). Vikes go for it and miss right before half on a 4th and goal. They didn't kick field goal, so the Pats go into halftime with momentum and win easy in 2nd half.

WEEK 9: Ouch. The lowly Browns smash the surprised Pats by 20 points! I shut the game off at the half so all I know is they underestimated the Browns and lost badly.

WEEK 10: Pats go to Pitt on Sunday Night Football, draws epic ratings and is billed as a AFC Championship preview. Past defer opening kick and play lights out on D and O and win 39-26! What an amazing road game. Utterly brilliant!

AFC EAST

  1. NEW YORK JETS 7-2
  2. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS 7-2
  3. MIAMI 5-4
  4. BUFFALO 1-8
