PATRIOTS OPENER HELPS DEPRESSED RED SOX NATION

The Sox have faltered this season. With out 3 of their first 4 starters in the lineup out for the season(ellsbury, pedroia, youkilis), and tons of other starters out for the year as well, from what i have heard the team is using kids from the minors to give them experience. This, of course, ticks of Red Sox nation. I hear they are doing okay, but are from the playoff picture.
The Patriots have awoken me from my blog boycott/hibernation period. The opened the season today and thrashed a solid Bengals club. The offence is amazing, especially with Brady, Moss, Welker and 2 stud tight ends amongst a great overall club. The defense is shaky, especially without Warren(injured until 2011), Green(not resigned) and corners McGowen and Bodden(out for season). Most games will be in the high 30's(for both the Pats and their opponent). Today, the Pats lead 31-3 and went on to win 38-14. Brady was great. The defense was average.
The Pats play in New York against the trendy Jets next week. Go Pats!
