CELTICS-LAKERS BEST OF THREE 2010 NBA FINALS

Our Celtics are 2 hours from a gigantically important pivotal Game 5 of the NBA Finals. The series is tied 2-2. The Lakers are playing with an extra man on the court; the officials. The first 2 games were lopsided as the Lakers got every call. But Ray Allen's record breaking 8 3pt field goals helped the Celts win a game, and the series traveled to Boston tied. Game 3 was worse officiating, as the fans grew restless and the Celts didn't have enough in a loss. Allen went 0-13 this time around. He also struggled in Game 4, but the team had a strong 4th quarter in which Big Baby Glen Davis and Nate Robinson wooed the crowd with energy and hustle. The Celtics should do well tonight. After all, a loss would end things because it would be extremely difficult to win 2 straight games in LA. So I hope we play well and win, which I think we will, that way all the Green have to do is go to LA and try to win one game! Go Celtics!
The Red Sox have been around 8 games above .500 for the past couple weeks. They recently took 2 of 3 from the lowly A's and Orioles. Good but not good enough to hang in the tough AL East. Then they started this week with 2 wins over the lowly Indians, with Buchholz and Lester scheduled to pitch the final 2 games of the set. But the worst happened; we lost them both, including Bard blowing a lead in the 9th. The team swung the bats this weekend against the Phillies, but lost the final game today. The team is 37-28, good for 3rd place in the division, 4 games behind the Yanks and Rays. The Sox will see both the D'Backs and Dodgers enter Fenway next week. Even with Ellsbury and Cameron basically out since April and Dice K and Beckett on the DL, the team is playing well enough to hang around until we get healthy and get rolling!
