CELTICS 5 WINS AWAY

We all now how Boston feels lately, confusingly happy. While us Bruins fans are still dazed and shocked that the Bruins blew a 3-0 series lead, the Celtics have helped us go through the emotional pain. Although they were 27-27 after Christmas, the team is unstoppable in the postseason. They crushed the Heat 4-1, upset the top-seeded Cavs 4-2, and currently lead the second-seeded Magic 3-0. The Big Three are studs, Rondo is a beast, the defense is better, and they are confident and have a winning swagger. The team blew out the Magic in the first 2 games, although they made it to close to comfort. The team led by 3o points in Game 3 and won convincingly. The Celtics hope to wrap up the series tomorrow night in Boston. The Lakers appear to be the opponent in the Finals, but one more win is needed.
The Red Sox had a better week, and for the first time this season they are 3 games above .500. For the first time this season, I am not so embarrassed and will post the standings below. The team is still way behind the Rays, who the Sox play this week. Since the Rays swept all 4 games in Boston earlier this season, revenge is needed. As for this week, it started off in horrid fashion. Papelbon gave up 4 runs in the 9th and the Yanks stunned us 11-9. The Sox won the next game in similar circumstances, making a great comeback and winning a close one. The Sox then went home and won both games versus the Twins. The club headed to Philly for a interleague series with the 1st place Phillies. The team lost the opener, but Dice K- threw a great game the next night. He lost his no-hitter with 2 outs in the 8th, but we won 8-0. Wakefield threw 8 scoreless innings today and we crushed old foe Halladay 8-3 to win the series. Before 4 with the Royals, the club has the aforementioned series with the Rays, and since we're 8.5 games back of first, we must do well this week!

  3. BLUE JAYS 25-20 (7.5)
