ATHLETIC EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER RIDE

Again. Fire Francona. How does this man keep his job? The Sox lost again today and sit at 8-11 and in 4th place. They lost to the 5th place O's today after blowing a 4-1 late lead. The horrible homestand is over. It included 4 losses to the Rays and tough 1 run losses to the Rangers and the aforementioned O's. They can't hit, can't score and can't play defense. The bullpen is horrible and the offense is especially inconsistent. Life sucks right now if your a Red Sox fan.
You can't exactly say that about the Celtics and Bruins. Though both lost their latest games, they hold series leads. The Celtics should have ended their series today in Miami, especially since they had a 6 point lead in the 4th quarter but just let it go. Shameful. No worries, they will wrap the series up back in Boston in Game 5. Highlights from the series so far is KG elbow that left him out for a suspension game, one in which we won by 30. Pierce nailed the game winner at the buzzer in Game 3 as well.
The Bruins, well, its pretty good. The team won Games 3 and 4 in dramatic fashion, including a 2 OT Game 4. With the series 3-1, Buffalo battled and won Game 5. The Bruins have 2 cracks to win the series, but in all likeliness, the Bruins have to win Game 6 in Boston. Hopefully they will, and that will make plenty of room in next week's blog for the likely Bruins/Pens matchup in the 2nd round.
Lastly, the Pats drafted mostly defense in the NFL Draft. They also took 2 TE and a new kicker.
