WE HAVE IT GOOD HERE WITHIN SPORTS SPORTS

Another year, same story.
The Patriots, Celtics and Bruins all sit in first place in their respective divisions. Each and every year, the same thing occurs. Though we may take it all for granted, a little bit I guess, we deserve it. The Celts struggled in the beginning of the this decade, the Bruins have come up short in the postseason and the Pats struggled for years until their amazing run this decade. You can throw the Red Sox in that mix.
The Pats are off today, and travel to New Orleans. It is as hyped as the Colts game, and we know how that turned out, as it fit the billing despite the horrific result for the good guys. The 7-3 Pats know this game versus the 10-0 Saints is not as important as the Colts game, but it's still huge. The Pats need a win for so many reasons, especially since they are 6-0 at home but just 1-3 on the road. The team needs to stay close to the Bengals and a couple others for a bye. But no one in Foxboro is talking about that yet. The team needs a good win.
The Bruins are on an amazing run. They are a big part of the reason I am in good spirits and focusing on the positives on this weeks blog. They won in St. Louis and then Minnesota to go 4 for 4 on the road trip! Rask started every game and was brilliant. He played well against the Devils on Friday, despite losing a tough one 2-1, albeit in a SO. Thomas, out the past 6 games with an injury, returned last night. The team found itself down 2-0 early, but the team bounced back and led 3-2 in the waning seconds. Again though, the team could not finish and the Sens tied it. Fortunately, the B's won in the SO. The win put the black-and-gold back in 1st place. It's not all rosy though, as Looch sprained an ankle and is out 4 weeks. Looch just returned from injury last week, so once again the team is still not 100% healthy. That makes there 13-8 record so fantastic. The team plays Tampa on Wednesday and heads to Montreal Friday.
The Celtics are playing the Heat in about 5 minutes. They won both games this week, versus Philly and then Toronto. They are an impressive 12-4.
Lastly, the Boston College Eagles football club won 19-17 in Maryland yesterday to wrap up the regular season 8-4. It's the 9th straight year the team has won at least 8 games! Harris rushed a whopping 41 times for 142 yards! The team play a bowl game in December.
