RECOVERY IN BOSTON

Last week's blog was arguably the soberest one ever. This week, things are better. We can thank the Patriots for that.
I guess we'll start with the bad. The Bruins still stink through 7 games. They lost Monday to the Avs by a score of 4-3. The 5 game homestand was done. The team traveled to Dallas and won Friday night 3-0. Thomas apparently found his game. Or so we thought. He and the boys lost to the Coyotes the next night 4-1. They got outplayed in every area, and the small crowd for the hometown bankrupt team was in joy. Not the Bruins. They are back in Boston and await their next opponent on Wednesday. The team sits at a lowly 3-4.
The BC Eagles bounced back from their 48-14 shellacking from last weekend in Blacksburg. The team thrashed former coach O'Brien and his NC State Wolfpack 52-20. BC RB Montel Harris ran for 264 yards and 5 scores, both are now BC records! They are now back on top of the ACC Atlantic Division alone with their 3-2 conference record and 5-2 record overall.
If you think that Harris had the best statistics this weekend in Boston sports you're wrong.
The Patriots and Tom Brady were mighty impressive today. The team had one of those great, perfect days where everything went right. Everything.
What the NE Patriots did today will be remembered for a long time. The team beat the Titans 59-0. The team broke so many records, both franchise-wise and NFL in general. What stands out the most was Tom Brady's 5 TD's in the 2nd quarter, the teams 45-0 lead at the half, the team's 59 point victory and gaining well over 600 yards!
The score could of been worse too. Oh, did I forget to mention it was a blizzard today. Yes, in mid-October. It snowed hard all game long with no let up. It was just an amazing game all around. The domination was epic, as the Titans only completed 2 passes! And they were combined negative yards in totality.
Meanwhile, the Pats could not be stopped. 59-0. A lot better than last week, right? The club is off to London for their final game before the bye, versus the lowly 0-6 Bucs. The Pats sit at 4-2 and alone for 1st place in the AFC East.
