BRUINS RUINED THIS WEEKEND

The Bruins suck right now. They can't catch a break either. After a rough losing stretch, the team ended it with a win in Carolina on Tuesday night. But the newfound winning ways did not last long. The team went South to FLA and fell flat on their faces. A Thomas/Vokoun duel ended up in the favor of the Panthers as the Bruins fell late 2-0. With a chance to ease the funk the next night against the lowly Lightning, it did not happen. An easy win went by the waist side. Though the Bruins played better and put a near 50 shots on Ramo, the team gave up a PP goal with 80 seconds to go and lost 4-3. Life sucks for a Bruins fan all of a sudden. Looking at the glass half-full, the team heads home for 6 games, including a chance for redemption with the Panthers in less than 48 hours. With teams getting awfully close, it's time to wake up now.
The Celtics went 1-1 this week. They blew a 4 point late 4th quarter lead and fell to the Jazz. Still don't know how it happened. Even worse, KG got injured in the 2nd quarter and did not return. He missed today's great win in Phoenix and will be out about 2 more weeks. The win was great, especially without KG to help battle Shaq and Co. and knowing the Suns had scored 140 points in 3 straight games. The green won 128-108.
To make this blog even worse, the BC Eagles followed up their big win vs. Duke and lost to Miami in their only game this week. With 3 games left before the ACC Tourney, the team needs 2 wins to nullify any chance of the Committee disrespecting the Eagles once again and not letting them in. They have G Tech, NC State and FSU left.
