THESE KIND WORDS/ PART 2

Quick thoughts-
Centering around Boston, we start with the Bruins.
Trading Toivonen will hopefully not be a mistake. Raycroft haunted the black and gold a few times, but it seemed to be the right move. Though Toivonen should excel with the Blues, at least he won't be in the East if he does.
Hate to see Shean Donovan go. He was a solid 3rd/4th liner who can skate and hit. The Bruins need more guys like that, not less. Schaefer will help though.
Not buying into the Manny Fernandez hype yet. Especially with T. Rask in the wings. Thomas is just about as good. Why do I like Rask so much? His choice in music no less.
Why does it seem the Bruins are getting a bit older?
The Capitals signed old friend Milan Jurcina to a new contract. The Bruins will surely regret that trade, as Milan is likely to become a solid defenseman.
On the Celtics, Allan Ray signed a contract with........................Italy.
Let's hope Gabe Pruitt proves why he can back-up Rondo.
Though I'm not exactly sold on the Ray Allen deal, nobody outside of Durant and Oden will become a stud from the draft. Mark my words.
B. Wallace signs a contract despite not being drafted. Kid must have shown something to Ainge and the brass during the workouts and summer league.
The Sox finished the week 5-2, a solid road trip despite faltering Sunday. Here's to hoping they make no major deal and/or trade the young stars. And god forbid they do, let's hope they pull a Hanley Ramirez and ship the person to the NL.
The team does not need another outfielder, Pena will, start to explode real soon. Although he should have stayed in Pawtucket to hit every night then joined the big club in August.
This week should be interesting. The Orioles come into Fenway then the Mariners. The same Mariners who swept the Red Sox last month and nearly ruined my vacation. Here's to hoping we handle the O's and crush the Mariners.
The Patriots started camp last week. All I know is the team is beyond stacked. Even with the tough schedule, if the team passes 3 tests they should win 12 to 14 games and win another ring rather easily. Obstacle 1- Team must sign Samuel, or rather, Samuel must take the 1 year tender. Hey, if Briggs can do it, so can you. Obstacle 2- Team must stay relatively healthy, but the team has backups on the roster who can start on most teams. Obstacle 3-Maroney must become the go-to back. Can he handle full time running snaps or will the team have to look elsewhere. All we really know is he has superior talent and flourished in the 2 back system. Now the time is his, can he succeed?
