PROPHET7 2007 MLB PREVIEW

I earned the nickname the prophet due to my amazing skill of predicting professional sports. Often, friends rely on these picks for all types of reasons, whether to put food on the table, pay bills or to get rich. Football and basketball are the easiest to pick, yet hockey and baseball can be challenging.
In hockey, goaltending is often the justification for the difficulty to pick em'. Who actually predicted the Lightning to win it all with N. Khabibulin afew years back? How about the shocking Stanley Cup from last year, Carolina and Cam Ward against Dwayne Roloson and the Oilers?
In baseball, it's a marathon. 162 games over 6 months occur and injuries plague teams. For most baseball prognosticators, the safe bet is the annual big market teams, a la Yanks, Red Sox, Angels and Dodgers etc.
How many forecasters predicted the Twins and A's the past few years or the Tigers last year? The answer is few, if not none. But, in the spirit of baseball (April 1), I will go ahead and provide clarity for those who need it, just a couple hours away from the first pitch of the 2007 MLB season. Read the next post to gain access to the picks.
