The Yanks are stacked offensively, but the starters are a question. Can Pavano rebound, can veterans Mussina and Pettitte stay healthy at their age, will Wang still fool hitters in his sophomore season and can Igawa control his pitches? The bullpen has a couple studs, but you need more than three decent arms. The Sox have arguably the best staff in baseball, a solid bullpen with questions and a great lineup, though Pedroia and Crisp will likely decide who wins the pennant, as the 8/9 hole has offensive questions. The Jays have half of a great lineup, 2 reliable starters and a questionable bullpen outside of Ryan. The Orioles have a mediocre staff but decent lineup, though pitching will again hamper the club, same for the Rays. A young lineup and no pitching outside of Kazmir.
